The work ethic and passion of the independent record labels is to be admired. The next instalment of the excellent Holliday Addicts record label from Argentina is a thoroughly captivating 3 track EP entitled "93" and is the label debut Produced recorded by talented young Argentine DJ/Producer, Brian Najera under the abbreviated "BN" alias. The featured EP title track will appease the old-skool Detroit/Chicago fraternity and undoubtedly appeal to the DJ establishment and dance- floor ravers "93" commences with an up-tempo 4/4 drum and hi-hat sequenced pattern courtesy of the legendary Roland TR-909. The track is shortly bolstered by the addition of pitch bending synth rifts and filtered analogue sounds tweaked with reverb. The myriad of sounds builds to a heart pounding crescendo and cliff-hanging drop. The tempo and momentum never subsides as the uplifting looped synths pads and sweeping heavy drums coupled with a rolling bass-line compels one's body to keep gyrating to the immersive vibes. 93 is a track that will remain in a DJ's record box as it possesses the energy to ignite the crowd at any stage during the night. The featured track is joined by 2 more riveting cuts. "No Fear" and a fantastic revamp of the original "93" by fellow Argentine Producer, 6del. The remix intertwines old-skool electro high sounds with a heavy and isolated 4/4 drum and a funky looped melody. The 26th instalment from Holliday Addicts stable is a vibrant and delightful instrument of audio pleasure.
